New tour operator checks in to offer Turkey flights

7 Nov 2008

Holiday flights to Turkey will depart from Glasgow Prestwick Airport in the summer of 2009.
Holidays 4U are independent specialists in providing great value flight-only and package deals to Turkey, and will operate a Tuesday flight to Dalaman from June 16 to July 28.

Dalaman serves the popular and lively resort of Marmaris, it’s laid back sister resort Icmeler, and also the Fethiye region which includes Olu Deniz and Ovacik/Hisaronu.

These destinations can boast a warm Mediterranian climate and the beautiful beaches that Turkey is famous for, as well as a fantastic range of holiday accommodation ranging from simple to luxury.

Holidays 4U also have two offices located in Turkey staffed with English and Turkish team members.
The company, which started in 1994, says this helps them to deliver a consistently high level of service which attracts many customers to use them year after year.

The Turkish team members are invaluable when it comes to securing the best deals for accommodation and excursions, with the savings passed on to the customer.

Holidays 4U maintains full ABTA membership and with additional government ATOL bonding your holiday money is guaranteed.

Turkey is a popular choice for UK holidaymakers looking to get their hands on as much spending money as possible.

Due to the weakness of Sterling against the Euro at the present time, the cost of visiting western Europe is rising. Visitors to Turkey, where the currency is Turkish new lira, currently do not have that problem.

Karen Vyse, Managing Director of Holidays 4U, said: “We know that for many people flying from their local airport is the most important factor when choosing a holiday, so we are delighted to have this opportunity to fly from Glasgow Prestwick in 2009.”

Mark Rodwell, Chief Executive of Glasgow Prestwick Airport, added: “We would like to welcome Holidays 4U to our airport. They are a well-established company with an excellent reputation but will be operating here for the first time.”

He added: “Scottish sun worshippers have often chosen Turkey in the past as it has one of the warmest summer climates in Europe, coupled with some excellent resorts.”
