Seguro Holidays will start a new charter service direct to Tenerife from Glasgow Prestwick next year.
Seguro is Prestwick's largest tour operator and is supported heavily by the Scottish travel trade.
Tenerife will be its sixth route from Scotland's fastest-growing airport.
The new route commences on Tuesday 24 May 2005 and will operate weekly until the end of October 2005.
Flights will leave Prestwick at 1230, arriving Tenerife at 1700 hrs. The return flight leaves Tenerife at 0700 hrs, arriving Prestwick 1130 hours.
The programme consists of a variety of properties in Playa las Americas and Los Cristianos from self-catering to luxury hotels such as the Mediterranean Palace. With the success of all inclusive hotels this year, rates have been secured at the 3-star Hotel Caledonia Park in Playa Las Americas and start from as little as £369 per adult, £947 for family of 3 and £1246 for a family of 4 travelling for week departing 24 May 2005.
Richard Burke, Seguro Holidays Managing Director, said: "We are delighted to develop yet another route from Glasgow Prestwick. Since we launched our Prestwick product in 1999 we have built up a large client base with many of our customers choosing Seguro Holidays time and time again. The new Tenerife flight is guaranteed to be a big hit with its year-round sunshine and our holiday prices starting from as little as £289."
Paula Horne, Manager Passenger Sales, Glasgow Prestwick, said: "'Seguro Holidays is now Prestwick's largest tour operator. Each year their programme has expanded and we look forward to their new Tenerife service starting in May next year which will boost their passenger numbers from Prestwick to over 50,000."
