Seguro announces new summer departures to Costa Brava from Prestwick

6 Apr 2005

Seguro Holidays, Glasgow Prestwick's largest tour operator, has today (Wednesday April 6) announced an exciting new route from Scotland's fastest-growing airport this summer.

From May 27, it will start holiday flights to Spain's Costa Brava, with direct services to Girona and Barcelona airports.

Seguro will offer three and four-star hotels on an all-inclusive basis during May, June, July and August over 5, 7, 12 and 14 nights.

Prices start at £289 per adult and £259 for the first child.

Hotels featured are the three-star Osiris in Calella, the Paradis in Pineda, the Planamar in Malgrat, the Santa Susanna in Santa Susanna and the four-star Pineda Palace in Pineda and the Royal Sun in Santa Susanna.

Seguro already offers direct flights from Prestwick to the Algarve, Majorca, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Lanzarote and Benidorm. Prices are low; this spring, for example, a family of four can go self-catering to Benidorm for just £736.

Glasgow Prestwick Passenger Sales Manager Paula Horne said: "Seguro has a great reputation for offering real quality and value for money holidays, and this year over 60,000 Scots will fly out of Prestwick with them. By offering a mix of 5, 7, 12 and 14 nights to the Costa Brava, they're giving customers real flexibility and choice this summer.

"The combination of guaranteed sunshine, fantastic hotels, lovely beaches and stunning scenery will make the new departures a winner with our passengers."
