Energy Developments Broome Power Station Passes 60 day RO Test

12 June 2008

Energy Developments Limited advises that its West Kimberley Power Project’s (WKPP) Broome Power Station has now passed the relevant 60-day Reliable Operations (RO) test.

All five of the WKPP Power Stations have now passed their respective RO tests, as required under the Power Purchase Agreement between Horizon Power and Energy Developments.

Energy Development’s Managing Director Greg Pritchard said that completion of the 60-day RO test at the 34MW Broome Power Station was a significant milestone for the project.

“We are pleased that Broome has passed this milestone in what has been a challenging project,” Mr Pritchard said. “We now look forward to working with Horizon Power over the 20-year operating phase.”
