Chief Executive Officer
Deion joined Trustpower in July 2001 and was General Manager Generation from May 2011 – March 2016, where he had responsibility for safety, environment, development, maintenance and operations activities for 50 power stations across Australia and New Zealand. In addition to this successful development background, Deion has also driven innovation in wind farm maintenance strategies and commercial frameworks, in collaboration with leading turbine suppliers. Previous roles at Trustpower included Major Projects Manager, leading the development, construction and operation of wind and hydro generation projects worth over $1 billion in New Zealand and Australia.
GM Renewable Development
Clayton has had extensive input into all of Tilt Renewables’ Australasian development projects having joined Trustpower in 2002. He spent a period of time in North America working on large scale renewable developments and returned to Trustpower in 2007. Since this time he has held several roles including Project Delivery Manager, responsible for a number of successful wind and hydro projects, as well as a term as Acting General Manager Generation, and Engineering Manager.
Chief Financial Officer
Steve joined the Tilt Renewables team in November 2016 as the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary after working as the interim Chief Financial Officer of Tilt for the five months prior as part of the Trustpower demerger process. Steve is an experienced senior executive in the Australian energy sector having previously held senior financial and general management roles at Palisade Investment Partners, Roaring 40’s, Epic Energy and what is now Energy Australia.
GM, Generation & Trading
Nigel is a senior executive with over 20 years’ industry experience, including the last 17 years in the operation, construction and commercialisation of renewable energy assets. He joined the Tilt Renewables team in February 2018 as the General Manager, Generation and Trading. Prior to joining Tilt Renewables, Nigel held senior operations and management positions with Pacific Hydro both in Australia and Chile, where in recent years he was the General Manager of Pacific Hydro’s Chilean business and CEO of a renewable energy joint venture between Pacific Hydro and Statkraft of Norway.
