Infrastructure & Utilities NZ Limited ("Infratil") announces that it has sold on market 6.11 million of its 10.93 million of its Powerco Limited shares at between $1.30 and $1.35 per share. These prices fall within the indicative range specified in the Investment Statement dated November 2000 issued in respect of the secondary offering of Powerco shares. Infratil declined to sell its entire shareholding, preferring to retain a 2.1% holding in Powerco.
