In July 2023, Infratil announced that it had entered into a conditional agreement with HKT Trust and HKT Limited to establish a strategic partnership to accelerate the growth of the Hong Kong-based Console Connect global connectivity business.
Completion of the partnership was subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions precedent. These conditions have not been satisfied within the agreed timeframes. As a result, the parties’ decided not to proceed with the transactions contemplated by the conditional agreement, which will terminate.
Infratil CEO, Jason Boyes said “We remain positive about the global connectivity sector, particularly next-generation software defined interconnection platforms like Console Connect has developed. We will continue to explore the sector.”
